Hi Year 2,
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and that the Easter bunny brought you lots of Easter eggs. Have you got any chocolate eggs left? Don’t forget to share them with your mummies….we love chocolate! Don’t we Mrs. House?
I imagine you’ve all been enjoying the sunshine and playing outside, remember to carry on with this as it’s important you get lots of fresh air every day. I wonder how many steps Aaron is doing every day!
You should have got your work by now and hopefully made a start. If you have any questions about it, ask your parents to email me. Don’t forget to ask your parents to continue sending me photos. I love to see what you’ve all been up to.
Missing you all and look forward to seeing you soon, hopefully.
Mrs. Sturrock xx

Hello Class 1 🙂 I will be posting some phonics learning for you to complete each day. Keep an eye on our blog!
The digraph we will focus on today is : ay
Write this digraph in your book.
The phrase we say is: may I play?
Have a go at reading these words, they all have our digraph in them:
say day hay may clay today
stay tray rays cayt chay blay
Did you spot any alien words? Let me know!
Write 3 real words in your book.
Look at the pictures and sentences. Can you read my sentences? Have a go at writing them by yourselves in your book. Remember capital letters and full stops. You can try to extend with ‘and, so, but, because’
The people are praying at Church.
The crayon is purple.
The horse likes eating hay.
Challenge: what other words can you think of that have the ‘ay’ digraph in?
Well done for fantastic phonics learning today my angels! Let me know how you got on!
Miss Gethings 🙂 x

Hi Class Six,
Hope you all had a good Easter break and managed to do some fun things even though it was different to usual. You should’ve got an email yesterday with your work for this week. Hope you enjoy it and it keeps you busy.
So, what did you get up to over the break?
I spent a lot of time reading and walking the dogs. Thank you, God for the beautiful sunshine.
Comment below to let me know what you got up to. Or you can e mail a photo to me and I can add it.
