Today we tried to be weather reporters. We looked behind the scenes of the BBC weather first to see how the professionals do it. We learnt the symbols to put on the map then presented our own weather forecasts.

Then we made weather vanes to measure wind direction  and cups to measure the rain.

Today was Oliwia’s  birthday so we wished happy birthday and gave her cake!

Have you got your scores yet? Move up and down 5 strips (or ladders) and time yourself. I did it in 13 seconds.
1. Run up and down with one foot between each strip.
2. Run up and down putting 2 feet between each strip.
3. Jump up and down between each strip.
How fast can you do it?
Let me know your scores as soon as possible please. Good luck!

Hello Everyone,
This week’s PE lessons are all about Netball. I love Monday’s ideas – making a dance mat and moving with fast feet and good coordination. Tuesday’s ball passes will be fun too, and for those netball lovers, there’s is a word search on Wednesday. Thursday is a game of ‘The floor is lava’ and shooting balls (or socks) into a laundry basket! Friday has a little competition. The more Friday competitions you enter, the more the more chances you’ll have in the prize draw. See the PDF’s below for full details.
2 week’s ago the ‘Go for Gold’ challenge was to throw up and ball and catch. All the results from across the city were were sent in and I’m delighted to tell you that Sarah from our yr 5 and Oliwia from our Yr 4 won the GOLD MEDALS! Congratulations girls!
I hope you took part in last week’s shuttle run. Send me your scores, I’ll be sending them in on Monday and Tuesday.
This week’s challenge is all about fast feet. See the attached PDF for full details and watch the video for a demonstration.
You have to lay out strips of paper like a ladder and time yourself doing some fast feet patterns.
The challenge is to go up and down the fast feet course in 3 different ways:
 (1) 1 foot at a time in each square (2) 2 feet in the square each time (3) 2 feet jumping into each square.
How long did it take you. Send me your times and I’ll forward them to the City Sports people.
Good Luck.
Take care, stay active
Regards,
Mrs Herbert.
PS. Let me know what other activities you’re up to – anyone been on a bike ride?
Who’s doing workouts/ Yoga?
Stay in touch! Kind regards,
Mrs Herbert

Hi, today we had a fun filled action packed day where improvements were made to our den building, to include doors, walls and comfortable seating.

As we conclude our week on Aspirations the children were thrilled to take home their dream jars.

Take a look at our pictures below.

Two of our pupils today had teeth fall out, much to Lettie’s delight, as her aspiration to be a tooth fairy was realised!

We had an exciting end to the day when we saw a helicopter land in the field next to school.

Hello, today in school we began the day doing Joe Wicks and chose to redo the Scooby Doo session.

As soon a Lettie arrived this morning she got straight to work independently making a mask for her mummy.

Look how Clever her design was to make it fit around her ears.

We started by painting our dream jars in white paint, this was our first coat of paint.

We did some maths work from our learning packs before going outside to build our dream dens.

Arthur said it was his aspiration to be a builder and he has fulfilled this by building his dream den.

In the afternoon we put the second coat on our aspiration jars before designing the decoration of our jars ready for tomorrow.

We finished the day with a frozen fruit picnic and some free time on the iPads.
