We have been very lucky to have a whole new growing area built at school. From piles of wood and bags of compost it now looks amazing. It will be great for all the classes to grow vegetables and then cook them to eat, and we can’t wait to get out there when it gets warmer. What kind of vegetables would you like to grow?
Our weekly class liturgy focused on perseverance this week. Encouraging the children not to give up when work gets hard or friends squabble. We also celebrated with our new cross today which was designed and painted by the children with help from Mrs Uveges. The cross looks beautiful.
The Reception and Year 6 buddies worked together today to celebrate the children in Class R passing their superhero training by doing special maths and phonics missions for Supertato. They shared together the books which they had written and talked about the special tasks they had done.
