We spent a wonderful afternoon in our local community gardens exploring the signs of autumn using our senses. We used the environment to make smelly potions, go for a blindfold walk and listen to the leaves crunching under foot. The highlight was climbing trees and playing in the willow.

Naomi – You are an absolute superstar in Reception. You are always the first person to help, the first person to put their hand up and the first person to challenge themselves with their learning. I can always count on you to do the right thing and you really are so gentle and kind. Well done Naomi!

Milena – You have wowed me in maths this week! You challenged yourself every day with the part-part-whole model until you finally cracked it! You never gave up. You also had a go at recording your answer and wrote 1 + 2 = 3. Well done Milena!
Monika – You have put so much effort into your phonics lessons this week. You are trying really hard to say the sound and you are always joining in. You have such a positive attitude which is lovely to see. Well done Monika!
