Good Morning Nursery Friends,
Today we are celebrating Micah’s 4th birthday. Micah all your nursery teachers and nursery friends are wishing you a happy 4th birthday. We hope you have a fantastic fun day filled with lots of laughter.
We are half way through June now, well done if you have tried some of the challenges so far. Hopefully today you will have some grass to try this. Do you remember the story of Rosie when all the fox cubs whistled loudly with grass?
I hope you had a good week and enjoyed the cricket activities.
I please to announce thatΒ Janis in year 2 has been awarded a gold medalΒ this week for his brilliant effort with the cross run challenge (number 8). Well done Janis, that is really well deserved – you have tried so hard every week and I’m delighted this has been recognised.
It’s not too late to send in scores for last week’s challenge number 9, the hurdles one. Please see the PDF for the new challenge number 10 – wall catch.
Try and get scores to me by Tuesday for challenge 9 and the following week for challenge 10. You can email me, write messages on here or use the FB page to tell me your scores.
This week’s PE is gymnastics, my favourite! We have some amazing gymnasts at Our Lady’s, so I expect you’ll find the daily lesson ideas straightforward. I’d love to see some pictures if you get time to email any to me, or put them on the fb page.
Please see the attached PDF’s for Challenge 10 and the Gymnastics ideas.
Today its all about peeking in on wildlife using a web cam. Have a look on line at BBC Springwatch which has lots of web cams to look at, from nests to underground homes.
Today in the wild it is about collecting objects to create art. Andy Goldsworthy is an artist that uses natural materials to create his land art. Some ideas to inspire you to make a composition usingΒ leaves, twigs and stones.

Good Afternoon,
Our Nursery Friends have been busy doing their learning at home. Take a look at the activities they have been trying.
Shea loved making the foil boat and seeing how many coins would float. Great counting using your duplo too!
Scarlett is very proud of her sunflower. It is so tall! What good fun Scarlett was having in a caterpillar race with her daddy. I wonder who won?
Mosiah hasΒ enjoyed the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I can see he is really concentrating on his work. Your sunflower is also growing very well!
I’m so proud of all the work you are managing to do at home. I know this can be tricky, especially because it has been so long since we have been together and in school. Well done children for trying so hard and a big gold star to your parents for helping you and being your teachers!

Good Morning Full Time Friends and Part Time Pals,
Today, Mrs Maloney would like to teach you the caterpillar song. See if you can join in singing with the words and actions. It will help you to understand how the caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
