This term we’ve had fab fun reflecting, praying, and role playing together learning all about different Bible stories and making links to our own lives and beliefs.
We learnt all about confirmation and the special signs and symbols. We role played being confirmed and being sponsors.
We’ve spent beautiful times of quiet led by the children in our liturgies.
We had so much fun at the ‘This Girl Can’ event at Nottingham Trent. I was so proud of the effort, positivity and team work you all showed. One our teams won every single race! You were all such a pleasure to take. Well done girlies!

What great fun we’ve had this term exploring electricity. Next term we’ll be learning all about sound and how our ear works. Have a look at our fab photos below from when we made switches in our circuit. Tell me in the comments below..how does a switch work?
We have had such a busy term in Year 2. Everyone is a bit tired now but very excited as we come to the end of our Advent journey, waiting for baby Jesus.
On Christmas morning as you open your presents remember to say “Happy Birthday Jesus”
Enjoy the rest and have a lovely Christmas with your friends and family everyone. We also wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

All the children created some beautiful designs for their Christmas Cards. There were lots of Mary and Joseph and many, many shepherds, kings and angels. I was impressed with the detail of your designs and all the colours you used. It was a difficult job to choose the best in class. Well Done Levi. We loved your cheeky camel!
On 30th November Year 2 had their Advent retreat.
We thought about all the things we have to wait for and how hard this can sometimes be. Then we made watches to remember how at Advent we are waiting and preparing for the birth of Jesus.
In the afternoon we made our own nativities in small groups and finished the retreat with an advent meditation and open prayer.
It was a really special day.
